Paula Denise Salvini, 72, of Midway, died Monday, August 7, 2023 in Canonsburg Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1951 in Washington; a daughter of the late William and Pauline Pierrard Navoski.
Mrs. Salvini was a 1967 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.
She was a legislative aide for former Pennsylvania State Representative Victor Lescovitz. She and her mother and sister owned PJ Ceramics in McDonald. And she worked as the fleet dispatcher for Edmonds Trucking where she retired in 2019.
Mrs. Salvini was a member of Center UP Church where she served as a Deacon for many years. She enjoyed traveling to the Outer Banks with her whole family on vacation. She always attended her grandchildren’s events from sports to dance recitals; they were her pride and joy. She liked baking, reading, mystery TV and books, and loved animals. She even rescued a dog named Guiliana.
On November 21, 1968, she married Edward S. Salvini, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Alan E. Salvini (wife Michele) of Midway; a daughter, Lesley D. Baird (husband Dale) of Midway; a sister, Jacqueline Reed Stupy of Southpoint; and four grandchildren, Jacob and Aaron Baird, Dominic and Guiliana Salvini.
Deceased is a daughter, Christina Marie Salvini.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220
E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 12, 2023 with Rev. Ben Scott, pastor of Center UP Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Midway. Memorial contributions are suggested to Center UP Church, Nose 2 Tail in McDonald or the Midway Vol. Fire Department.
