William "Bill" M. Kapton Sr. , age 54, of North Lima, OH. passed on March 28, 2026 in Birmingham AL.

He was born March 17, 1972 in Washington, PA.; to his biological father Clifford Shaffer and mother Sandra Greene.

Bill was a Graduate of South Fayette High School class of 1990. He was an Electrical Superintendent for Kiewit, and an active member of the IBEW Local 5 Electrical Union. Bill was known as "Kap" by his work family, that extended all over the country. He was looked up to and a mentor for upwards of 200 crewmen at any given time, while also being acknowledged as a valued and integral part of his company's success by his superiors.

Bill loved riding his Harley, and was a member of HOG "Harley Owner Group". He enjoyed Legos, working on Puzzles, and tinkering with anything mechanical. He was also a storied collector of items throughout his life, with a myriad of topics. He always found something to bring back as a physical representation of his travels and tales in life.

Surviving are his two children Kiara Kapton and Will Kapton Jr, his mother Sandra Klisavage, his father Paul Klisavage, a brother Len Kapton, a niece Jayda Kapton, two special cousins, Gary (Ashley) Greene, and Danny (Noelle) Greene, and many more cousins.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 4-8PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life as per Bill's wishes. An announcement will be made when the date is determined.
