Shirley Mae Borovich, 68, of Midway, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her home.
She was born December 18, 1945 in McDonald, a daughter of the late James and Julia Edna (Plance) Augustine, Sr.
Mrs. Borovich was a bakery clerk for Giant Eagle in Robinson Township, retiring in 2003.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and taking care of others, but the joy in her life was her grandchildren.
On February 21, 1976, she married Nick Borovich, who died September 17, 2004.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan (Claude) Smith of Weirton, WV; a son, Daniel (Nicole) Borovich of Midway; two step-daughters, Connie (Richard) Gilbert of FL and Judy Schmac of Clinton; a step-son, Jeff Borovich of Bulger; a step-daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Borovich of Bulger; a brother, James (Rosalie) Augustine, Jr. of McDonald; a sister, Alice (Ron) Caltumo of McDonald; seven grandchildren, Claude (Elysia) Smith, Jr., Shanna Smith, Nicolas, Joshua and Jessica Borovich, Brittany (Matt) Lounder and Richard Gilbert; and a great grandson, Kristopher Gilbert.
Deceased is a step-son, Pete Borovich.
Friends will be received from 1 – 4 and from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 15 with Rev. Charles Puff, pastor of Iron’s Memorial Presbyterian Church, McDonald, officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
