Sandra K. Wilson

Sandra K. Wilson, born on July 9, 1945, in Midway, PA, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. She was the beloved daughter of the late Clara Mae Kendall and is remembered fondly for her compassionate spirit and warm heart.

A proud graduate of Fort Cherry High School, Sandra dedicated her career to service. Her 20 years at the 911th Air Force Base at the Inn showcased her exceptional commitment to her work. She also spent over 13 years as a bus driver for Bish Transportation, serving the Fort Cherry community with kindness and diligence.

Her personal life was adorned with many interests and hobbies. Sandra had a particular passion for crocheting, creating beautiful blankets that warmed both the hearts and homes of those she loved. She found joy in playing spider solitaire and enjoyed watching classic shows on the TV Land channel. In her younger years, gardening, baking, and making Easter candy brought her immense joy, reflecting her nurturing nature.

Sandra was deeply loved by her family. Surviving her are her devoted son, Denny Wilson Jr.; two daughters, Dawn M. (Charlie) Swayne and Bobbi Jo (Kenneth) McGregor; ten grandchildren—Kirstie, Breanna, Kelsey, Benny, Corey, Kenny, Bryan, Kevin, Jason, and Stacy; and fourteen great-grandchildren who brought her endless happiness.

In love, she was united in marriage to Charles "Denny" Wilson Sr. on December 7, 1963, a partnership that lasted until his passing on September 22, 2012. Sandra also mourned the loss of her daughter Kathleen Wilson and grandson Michael Swayne, who remain in the hearts of the family.

Throughout her life, Sandra's enduring spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends, who will carry her memory with them always.

Family will receive friends on January 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 218-220 East Lincoln Ave, McDonald, PA 15057; where a funeral service will be held on January 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Center Cemetery, Midway.
