Rebecca Ann Plezia

Rebecca Ann Plezia, age 65, of Bridgeville, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on October 8, 2025. 

She was born June 27, 1960, to Larry Carter, Sr. and the late Geraldine Demnyan Carter. 

Rebecca was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School class of 1978. She was a Business Analyst for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in Pittsburgh. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was the official cook and baker for her grandchildren's extracurricular activities and holiday meals. Becky was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, and she enjoyed playing slots. What she loved more than anything was spending time with her husband and family. 

On November 21, 1981, she married Joseph Harold Plezia, who survives. 

Rebecca and Joseph raised three children: Heather (Eric) Longstreth, Joseph (Jamie) Plezia, Jeffrey (Andrea) Plezia; Her siblings Ronald, Barbara and Larry Carter, Jr., Janet Oiler and Bonnie Schaum. Most importantly, she was blessed with seven cherished grandchildren: Samuel, Lucia and Wesley Longstreth; Joey, Tucker, and Libbi Plezia and Alanna Plezia. 

Family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 11:00AM to 3PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. A Celebration of her Life will take place immediately following visitation at 3PM. Inurnment will take place privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
