Rachel A. Fodse, 62, of Midway, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Canonsburg Hospital.
She was born June 1, 1950 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late Clyde M. and Gladys R. (Kendall) Daniels.
Mrs. Fodse was a 1968 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and a graduate of the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.
She worked as a hairdresser and was the owner / operator of the former Rachel’s Beauty Shop of McDonald. She loved her job and was always happy fixing people’s hair.
Mrs. Fodse was a member of Center Presbyterian Church, Midway.
On May 20, 1972, she married Richard L. Fodse, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Danielle Fodse of McDonald and Bobbie (Rob) Springer of Waynesburg; and three grandchildren, Tylor, Robby and Hunter.
Friends will be received from2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6.
