Nancy L. Tropeck, 64, of McDonald, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
She was born October 3, 1953 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Zimmer) Joseph.
Mrs. Tropeck currently worked as an administrator for Hospice and Palliative care in Robinson Township. She was a former Librarian for the Heritage Public Library and a Manager for Family Dollar, both in McDonald.
She was a member of St. Alphonsus R.C. Church in McDonald. She was a current board member of the McDonald Library. She enjoyed walking her dog, camping, vacationing at the beach, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
On September 16, 1972, she married Carl J. Tropeck, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Michael C. (Michelle Semerod Seaman) Tropeck and Timothy C. (Julie) Tropeck, both of McDonald; a sister, Marie Henry of Scott Township; and three grandchildren, Allison and Samantha Tropeck and Jacob Semerod.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Alphonsus R.C. Church McDonald. Interment will follow in Holy Souls Cemetery, Robinson Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Heritage Public Library, 52 Fourth St., McDonald, PA. 15057.
