Miriam L. Mindek , age 98, of McDonald, Passed Thursday, February 24, 2022.

She was born January 9, 1924 in McDonald; a daughter of Rolland and Lillian Mary Lewis Clayton.

On November 6, 1943 she married, Nick Mindek, who passed in 1974.

Mrs. Mindek was a devoted member of the McDonald Bible Methodist Church for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Doug (Connie) Mindek of Maryland and Nick Mindek of McDonald; four grandchildren, Mark Mindek, Suzanne Fink, Dawn Diesem and Ben Mindek ; a sister Laura Faye Dupain of Houston, PA; 13 great grandchildren and 11great-great grandchildren.

Deceased is a son Ronald Mindek; three sisters Virginia Yurosky, Muriel Gale Joback, and Lois Schmek; two brothers, Douglas and Tom Clayton; one grandson, Timothy Mindek.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from Noon -1Pm the time of service at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
