Louis Henry Muller

Louis Henry Muller, 91, of Burgettstown lived each day to its fullest until he took his last breath on July 29, 2025. Son of Louis and Catherine Goldbach Muller, he was born July 13, 1934, in Presto PA. He was a carpenter by trade and a proud member of Carpenter's Local 420. Lou was also a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish.

Lou is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Patricia Collavo, Marilyn Scheib and Julianne Muller. Surviving are his sisters, Rita Bomblosky, Bernadette Gramm and Marjorie Lipinski.

71 years ago on November 21, 1953, he married Jo Ann Mortrey. Together they raised a family of two daughters, Lou Ann Muller of Burgettstown, Donna (Al) Fiorentini of Bridgeville and one son, Louis Edward (Susan) Muller of Hookstown. Lou was Pap Pap to his grandchildren, Stacy (Dennis) Love, Amanda (Ryan) Oesterle, Amy (John Alexander) Evans, Louis Ernest Muller, and Megan Muller (Trystan Stewart). Also his four great grandchildren, Logan and Lucas Oesterle and Eve and Ethan Evans with the fifth great grandchild (grandson Evans) soon to arrive. 

Lou was an avid outdoorsman. If he wasn't hunting, fishing or trapping, you would find him in his garden. He took great pride in gardening each year, sharing much of his harvest with family and friends.

The family is very grateful to Amedisys Hospice for the support and genuine care during Lou's illness. 

A private remembrance will be held with interment at St. Barbara Cemetery in Bridgeville.
