Larry Allen Zombeck

Larry "Lay Lay" Allen Zombeck, age 78 of McDonald, passed on Monday, August 31, 2026. 

He was born July 23, 1948 in McDonald; a son of Joseph and Ethel Adamson Zombeck.

Larry was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School. He worked as a welder for Ackerman Boiler in McDonald.

Larry enjoyed fishing and hunting, spending time at the Meadows casino. 

Surviving is his dear sweet heart of 14 years Florence "Flo" Acheson; two children, Kristine and Brenda; four brothers and a sister, Albert, Ricky, Michael, Randy Zombeck, and Barbara Dunn. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Deceased are six brothers Joseph, Ronnie, Charles, Dennis, Stanley, and Timothy Zombeck; two sisters, Frances Stone and Janet DeJohn. 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 6-8PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service, 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. Services and Interment will be Private. He will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Weirton, WV.
