Joseph E. Matalik age 73, of Slovan, passed on Monday, October 6, 2025.
He was born January 10, 1952 in Cherry Valley; a son of Joseph and Mary Wozniak Matalik.
Joe was a graduate from Fort Cherry High School class of 1970. He then served in the United States Airforce from 1970 to 1974. He worked at Mayview State Hospital and Racoon State Park.
Joe enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards, and watching steeler games.
Surviving are his siblings, Mary Ann LaQuatra of McDonald, and Mike Matalik of Texas.
Deceased are three brothers; George, Steve and John Matalik.
Inurnment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 1:00PM.
