John “Little John” Andrew Robertson

John Andrew Robertson, age 87, of McDonald, passed Saturday, June 14, 2025

He was born, November 25, 1937, in McDonald; a son of Thomas and Mary Benard Robertson.

John was a graduate of McDonald High School class of 1955. He worked as a assistant postmaster in McDonald for 32 years where he retired in 1992.

On July 11, 1970, he married Ruby Jane Robertson, who passed on July 14, 2021.

Mr. Robertson attended Cross Connections Alliance Church in McDonald. He was a former tax collector in McDonald for several years. He enjoyed Hunting with his sons, playing softball, golfing, running, and walking on the Panhandle trail.

Surviving are three children, Scot (Jen) Robertson of IL, Greg (Megan) Robertson of NC, and Gayle (Michael) Jesse of Burgettstown; six grandchildren, Alex Jesse, Addie, Lyla, Shelby, Andrew and Tyler Robertson.

Deceased are three sisters, Jean Hannan, Isabelle “Izzy” Wilson, and Mary Campbell, and four brothers William, Henry “Herk”, Alex and Thomas Robertson.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 5 to 8 PM at Graff- Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, 15057. Services will take place Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Cross Connections Alliance Church, 210 Valley St. McDonald, PA. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Cross Connections Alliance Church.
