Joann Voloskie

Joann Voloskie , 85 of McDonald, N. Fayette Twp., passed on December 30, 2025. 

She was born on July 23, 1940 in Sturgeon; a daughter of Fredrick "Butch" and Esther Nelson Darnley.

Joann worked as a cook for many years at the Pitt Hotel in McDonald. She also worked for Rank Retail in Hopewell. 

On September 30, 1959, she married George L. Voloskie Sr., who passed on May 4 2019. 

Joann enjoyed working with ceramics , even giving ceramic lessons in the 1970's. She enjoyed cooking, working on crossword puzzles, and reading. 

Surviving are two sons, George L. (Jodi) Voloskie Jr.  and Todd Voloskie; seven grandchildren, Ryan Voloskie, Jenny McDade, George Voloskie III, Sheryl Stuckwish, Todd Voloskie Jr., Meadow and Scott Voloskie; four great grandchildren, Sophia Stuckwish and Alexis, Ryder, and Sky Colledge.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service, 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will take place Monday, January 5, 2025 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
