Joan Lucarini

Joan Lucarini age 89, passed away peacefully, in her home on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026.

She was born on July 7th, 1937, in New Cumberland, WV; a daughter of the late Susan Sompin and John Rash.

She was married to August T. Baronio whom passed in 1971. She then married Julius Lucarini, whom passed in 2005.

In Joan's lifetime she always enjoyed thrift shopping, sewing, gardening, and bird watching. She also was an active and devoted member of the Oakdale congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving are three children, Michael C. Lucarini (Christine), Kathleen S. Avenengo (Brenda), and Timothy J. Lucarini; A sister, Susie Scott, a granddaughter; Ashlea Novalis along with eight additional grandchildren, and a great grandson; Bruce Barron.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, August Jr. and Daniel Baronio, and Julia Dilley; two brothers, John Jr. and Donald Rash; and a grandson, Jason Novalis.

A private burial was held on Friday, October 16th, 2026.
