Ida L. Galicic

Ida L. Galicic age 87, passed Thursday, October 8, 2026.

She was born on October 27, 1938, in Clarksville, PA; a daughter of the late John and Marie Lippencott Laight.

Ida was a graduate of South Fayette High School.

On December 21, 1957, she married Raymond A. Galicic, who passed September 22, 2023.

Ida in her younger years enjoyed going polka dancing with her husband Ray. She also enjoyed Crocheting, playing bingo, and cherished spending time with her family.

Surviving are two children, William “Bill” (Robin) Galicic, and Dianna (Bill) Drugmand; a brother James Laight, and three grandchildren Rilan (Kaylee) Galicic, Ansley Galicic and Nolan Drugmand.

Deceased is a sister, Dolores Chambola, and a brother Jack Laight.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Services, 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11:00AM. Interment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
