Harry William Crisman, 76, of Oakdale, died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Manor Care, Greentree,
He was born October 5, 1937 in Jeannette, a son of the late William H. and Ada (Chew) Crisman.
Mr. Crisman worked as an air craft mechanic for U.S. Airways for 38 years before his retirement.
He was a member of Independent Bible Presbyterian Church, McDonald, a member of the American Legion and a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, the Potomac Air Lodge local.
Mr. Crisman served in the U.S. Air Force from Nov. 6, 1957 to May 31, 1962.
On February 8, 1964, he married Vicky M. Kratochvil, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William H. Crisman of Oakdale; a sister, Shirley (Richard) Stape of Sandy Lake; two brothers, Earl (Margaret) Crisman of NC and Richard (Mary) Crisman of Cleveland, OH; and three grandchildren, Cheyenne, William Alexander and Dakota Chase Crisman.
Friends will gather at Independent Bible Presbyterian Church, McDonald at 10:00 a.m. Saturday for a memorial service that will be held at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Independent Bible Presbyterian Church, Box 36, McDonald, PA 15057 or to the Salvation Army, 700 North Bell Avenue, P O Box 742, Carnegie, PA 15106.
