Gerald B. “Jerry” Kaufman, 69, of McDonald died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Canonsburg Hospital.
He was born December 14, 1948 in Cleveland, OH a son of the late Louis "Lewis" and Rose (Milinsky) Kaufman.
Jerry was a truck driver for Engineering Metals in Canonsburg and most recently worked for Lowe’s in Robinson Township.
He was a member of the Oakdale Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Jerry enjoyed watching classic TV shows, tinkering and gadgets (he liked shopping at Harbor Freight). As a former biker, he loved motorcycles. When he was young, he was a boy scout and he still enjoyed camping and cooking. Jerry frequently was seen cooking on his grill at picnics with friends and family.
On October 4, 1975, he married Barbara Jean Howell, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sharon (Greg) Flinchbaugh of Oakdale; three sons, Joshua Kaufman of McDonald, Jared (Amber) Kaufman of Aliquippa and Aaron (Magen) Kaufman of Oakdale; a brother, Norm Kaufman of Aurora, OH; four grandchildren, Emma Sue, Gracie Anne and Tessa Marie Kaufman, and Wyatt Richmond Flinchbaugh; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Frank and Harry Kaufman.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 8 at Oakdale Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 198 North Branch Road, Oakdale. Arrangements are entrusted to Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jehovah’s Witnesses at JW.org.
