George F. Claire, Jr., 64, of Scott Twp. died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his home.
He was born November 21, 1947 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late George F. and Anna (Zona) Clair, Sr..
He was self-employed and worked in sales and also owned and operated North Star, a home improvement company.
He was an avid golfer and a member of Alcoma Country Club. He also enjoyed watching hockey and the Steelers.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret “Peg” Openbrower Claire of Scott Township; a son, Adam Claire of Carrick; a sister, Georgeann Leventis of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Richard Claire of Verona and David Claire of Washington, DC; and six grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Robert Claire; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service and burial at the National Cemetery Of The Alleghenies, Bridgeville will be announced at a later date.
