Edward W. Nadolny, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on April 21, 1943, in Canonsburg, he was the son of Edward O. and Margaret Gorman Nadolny. Edward was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School, class of 1961. With a notable career that began as a computer programmer for Dravo in Pittsburgh, he later served as a computer consultant for Weirton Steel. His considerable contributions to the field of computing reflected his commitment, work ethic and expertise.
Edward was a man of many interests and passions. Having been a football player in high school who married his majorette, he loved the game and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Beyond football, he found joy in deep-sea fishing, tinkering with cars, and working on computers. Most notably, he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, relishing the opportunity to watch them grow and participate in various activities including sports and musical pursuits.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Sandra D. Nadolny, and four devoted children: Edward O. Nadolny, William (Heidi) Nadolny, Elisabeth (Michael) Corbett, and Rachel (Ben) Armentrout. Edward was also proud of his nine grandchildren: Rebecca Creasy, Rachel Ross, Christiana Parham, Rebekah June Nadolny, Will and Josh Nadolny, Ella Grace and Liam Corbett, and Harbor Grace Armentrout, as well as his four great-grandsons. He is survived by his sister, Judith Riutort, who, along with the rest of his family, will treasure the memories they shared.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Services located at 218-220 East Lincoln Ave., McDonald, PA. A funeral service will take place the following day, Monday, January 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
Edward W. Nadolny will be remembered for his warmth and dedication to family, and for his generous spirit that touched the lives of those around him. His legacy will live on in the laughter and achievements of his beloved family.
