Alice A. Todorowski, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024 at her home. She was born on April 14, 1946, in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania; a daughter of Anthony J. and Ellen J. Elcock Signorella.
Alice dedicated over 30 years to her profession in nursing, proudly working at various medical facilities throughout her career. Her final position was at Mayview State Hospital, where she retired in 2007. Her commitment to the health and well-being of her patients was evident, and she made a lasting impact on those she cared for.
A graduate of Hardbrack High School, Alice furthered her education at the Shadyside School of Nursing, where she became a Registered Nurse. Her professional journey was complemented by her strong sense of community. She was a respected member of the McDonald Presbyterian Church, where she served as a former Deacon, and was a member of the Lunch Ladies Bible Study Group. embodying her dedication to service and spirituality.
Alice's interests extended beyond her professional life. She enjoyed traveling the world to watch her son perform, Sunday dinners at her daughter’s house, and anything that involved her grandson. She cherished her time with the ladies of her bible study, and most recently, at the McDonald-Cecil Senior Center, where she would enjoy lunch with her husband and engage in exercise classes. Together, they created fond memories through their travels, especially relishing Sunday drives that the couple cherished.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald M. Todorowski, their children, Michele Burek (Doug Burek) of Phoenix, AZ, Ronnie Todorowski (Ryan Sander) of New York, NY and grandson, DJ Burek. She is also survived by three sisters, Ellen Erico, Toni McCullough, Lois Meyers, one brother, Joe Signorella and many nieces and nephews.
Alice will be remembered for her compassionate nature, dedication to her family, and her warm smile. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
Family will receive on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 218-220 East Lincoln Ave., McDonald, PA 15057. A funeral service will take place the following day, October 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
Alice's memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
